Peter Anthony Kellerman, 75, of Warwick, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023 following a six-year battle with Sarcoma. He was the loving husband of Connie R. (Denner) Kellerman for forty-nine years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Russell and Theresa (Doyle) Kellerman.
Peter graduated from Bishop Hendricken High School and proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He went on to work as a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service until his retirement. Peter was an avid golfer, until his illness stopped him, and enjoyed playing in the World Amateur Golf Tournament. A Life Member of Lodge #14 BPOE, Peter was the Past Exalted Ruler and Past State President of the Elks. He was also a member and past Treasurer of the Oakland Beach Volunteer Firemen’s Club, and a member of the American Legion Wm. Shields Post #43. Peter was particularly proud of his Irish Heritage.
Besides his wife Connie, he leaves his beloved niece Sarah and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Russell Kellerman, Jr.
His Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, June 9, 2023, at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 S. County Trail, Exeter.
