Norman D. Laliberte, age 72, of Warwick, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Marcia (Moulton) Laliberte, with whom he shared 46 years of marriage.


Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Ernest and Annette (Dupont) Laliberte.
Norman graduated summa cum laude from Rhode Island College, received his master’s degree from the University of Connecticut, and completed administration courses at Providence College. He worked with the Cranston Public School Department for 34 years as a Teacher, Principal, and Executive Director in Central Administration. He was the president of the Greater Providence Retired Teachers Association.
President of St. Catherine’s Parish Council, he sang in the choir, and taught adult religious education in the “Light” program.

In addition to his wife Marcia, he is survived by his two sons, John and his wife Tiffany, and Thomas and his wife Neomi; three brothers, Ernest and his wife Margaret, Robert and his wife Barbara, and Donald; three granddaughters, Cora, Anna, and Isla; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Jeanette Marie Laliberte.

Norman dedicated his life to his love for God, his family, and education.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 10:00am in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Ln, Warwick. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 4:00-8:00pm in the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick. Burial to take place immediately following Mass in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited.
