The Warwick Housing Authority would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to Jenny DaSilva from Legacy Church in Warwick for reaching out to the Warwick Housing Authority to coordinate back packs filled with school supplies for children that reside at WHA family sites.

Jenny DaSilva was informed there were 24 families with school aged children under the age of 18.

On August 21st Legacy Church dropped off to WHA 30 back packs that were filled with an array of school supplies (crayons, pens, pencils, folders, binders, highlighters, erasers, glue sticks, note books, scissors, etc.…).

WHA staff contacted the families to inform them of the donations received and to offer a back pack filled with school supplies for each child. The WHA staff coordinated pick up times for the back packs filled with school supplies. The families and children were surprised, happy, and appreciative.
