St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Apponaug will celebrate a Service of Lessons and Carols for Advent this Sunday afternoon, Dec. 15, beginning at 4 p.m.
Rev. James R. Bocchino, the Priest-in-Charge at St. Barnabas, said, “This service is intended as a preparation for our Christmas celebration. This is a wonderful way to prepare for the birth of our Savior.”
Sunday’s service will consist of six readings that foretell the coming of the Messiah followed by choir anthems and hymns. A post-service reception will be held in the Schweitzer Hall.
St. Barnabas Episcopal Church is located at 3257 Post Road in the Apponaug section of Warwick next to City Hall. There’s plenty of parking in and around the parish and city parking lot.
