The Community Against Bullying in Schools organization will hold its annual Let Kindness Bloom fundraising gala on Sunday, March 29, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Kirkbrae Country Club, 197 Old River Road in Lincoln.
The event features a luncheon prepared by Kirkbrae chefs; a silent auction of sports memorabilia, gift baskets, and wine and gift-certificate pairings; a display of winning student photos and videos from this year’s statewide “Random Acts of Kindness” contest; guest speakers and entertainment.
Proceeds from the gala will go towards CABINS’ main objective, to keep bullying out of Rhode Island schools and provide students a safe learning environment free of abuse and ridicule. The organization supports and has participated in the Third Eye Youth Crime Watch. It also supports the annual April Friends Day event on April 1, National Stop Bullying Day.
Tickets for the gala are $50 and are available at the organization’s website, CABINSRI.org, via PayPal or by emailing DCD@cabinsri.org.
