Let’s not forget what binds us

To the Editor,

My wife and I just spotted our 1st Bald Eagle soaring

majestically above our backyard.  It took 70 years,

but it was worth the wait. 

We all breathe the same air, gaze up at the same stars at night

and are integral parts of Mother Nature's magnificent diorama.

During this contentious election season, let's remember that

we have more that binds us than sets us apart.
