Olivia King and The O.K. Crew will be performing live at the La Salette Shrine in Attleboro, Mass. on December 11 from 7-8 p.m. in the “Welcome Center.” The local singer/songwriter will perform well known Christmas hits with a soulful/pop spin along with her dancers, “The OK Crew,” Darian Wallace (East Providence) and Larissa Gay (Tewksbury, Mass.). The performance will be a first for La Salette Shrine in that church choirs and school groups are usually scheduled to perform during their Festival of Lights. She and her crew are hoping to bring something unique to the Shrine this holiday season.
Olivia King is a 22-year-old singer, songwriter and dancer from Warwick. Her sound is defined as a cross between R&B and Pop. This summer, Olivia King and The O.K. Crew toured New England and the Tri-State area performing at well-known venues such as Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, Santos Party House and The Band Shell at Jones Beach in New York City and several venues in Connecticut and Boston. Olivia has appeared live on television and radio, including New England Cable News and several college radio stations. She has also written jingles for companies such as Kudos Trading Company in San Francisco and made it through two rounds on the popular NBC show, The Voice.
