Countless trees have been cut down to make room for the relocation of Main Avenue and the extension of the main runway at Green Airport. The work, including the demolition of several houses, has progressed despite this winter’s string of snowstorms and frigid weather as the airport corporation and its contractors look to complete the project by December 2017.
