Mary Ann (Donovan) Martino, 90, of Bonita Springs, Fla., previously of West Warwick, passed away August 25, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Philip D. Martino Sr.
Mary was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Timothy and Mary (Murphy) Donovan. Mrs. Martino was the former co-owner with her late husband of Strand Jewelers.
She is survived by her loving sons, Gerald and Daniel Martino, both of Warwick. She was the sister of Margaret Carpenter of Maine and the cherished grandmother of Andrew, Daniel and Brenden. Mary was also the loving mother of the late Peter, Paul, Dennis and Philip "Jay" Jr. and sister of the late Joseph, James, Francis, Thomas, William, Helen, Kay and Agnes.
Her funeral was held Sept. 3 from Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter's Church, Fair St., Warwick. Burial took place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Visit www.nardolillo.com for more information and online condolences.
