Janice C. McGurn, 84 passed away unexpectedly at her home on August 26, 2023. She was the wife of the late Robert McGurn who passed away in 2003. Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late William and Blanche (Gagnon) Farmer. She was the loving companion of William Fisher.

Janice worked for EG & G Sealol as a Human Resource Administrator for many years prior to her retirement. She loved dancing, a passion that remained close to her heart throughout her adult life. Every week, Janice’s spirit lit up the dance floor of the Mishnock Barn, where she was surrounded by friends and family. This weekly tradition was more than just a hobby; it was a celebration of life, love, and the connections she forged over the years.
Janice’s enthusiasm for dance was just one of the many ways she radiated joy and vitality. Her ability to bring happiness to any gathering was unparalleled. In addition to her love for dance, Janice was active and enjoyed biking, kayaking and traveling with her family.
