Monique LaFrance and David Ronald Bartley Jr. were in united in marriage October 3, 2014 by Father Francis Kayatta at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea in Narragansett. A reception followed at the Quidnessett Country Club, North Kingstown.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Donna LaFrance of Salix St., Warwick. She holds a Master of Science degree in oceanography. She is an oceanographer at the University of Rhode Island’s School of Oceanography.
The groom is the son of David and Ann Marie Bartley of Rolling Acres Dr., Cumberland. He is self-employed in concrete construction.
The bride wore a silver taupe-colored dress with lace overlay. She carried a bouquet of mini white calla lilies within mixed greens.
Giselle Mahoney, twin sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Danielle Cares was a bridesmaid.
David Ronald Bartley Sr., the groom’s father, was best man. Patrick Bartley, brother of the groom, was an usher.
Following a trip to Tahiti and French Polynesia, the couple resides in Narragansett.
