Patricia A. “Pat” Moran, 82, of Warwick, passed away peacefully at Scandinavian Communities Skilled Nursing Home, on August 7th, 2023.  She was surrounded by her family and loved ones while she transitioned to her spiritual life.  Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Yvonne (St. Germain) Leonard.

 Loving mother to her two children; daughter Tracy Nickerson (Michael), and her son Gene Moran (Terry Perry) all of Warwick, RI; She was also a “Beloved and Cherished “Grandma” to Caitlin & Megan Moran; a Loving “Grandma Pat” to her great-grandchildren Penelope (Penny-Mae) and Ronald (RJ) Denson III.  She is also survived by her sister Gerry Hennebury, and sisters in law, Joann Leonard & Glenna Andrade.  She was predeceased by her brother Jack Leonard.  She also was pre-deceased by her long-term partner, Joseph Marisi, and is survived by his son, Tony Marisi, his wife Pam and son Alex, as well as the best nieces & nephews a woman could ever ask for. 

 Patricia graduated from RI Junior College Nursing Program in 1974.   She went on to work at Rhode Island Hospital for 31 years as an Endoscopy Nurse until her retirement. 

 She enjoyed gardening, shopping, traveling, and watching both the Red Sox and the Patriots.  She had a penchant for the theater.  Visits to the local casinos was an all – time favorite.  Her greatest love & joy came from spending time with family and friends, especially on the holidays. 

 The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Scandinavian Communities Skilled Nursing Home, as well as some special

“Thank You’s” to Carol & Ralph Corcelli, and Judy Lynch for being her lifelong  best friends and confidantes. 

 She will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her, and will always love her granddaughters “MORE”.

 Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral ceremony at 10 AM on Saturday, August 12th, 2023, in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick, RI. Burial will immediately follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. A visitation will be held Friday, August 11, 2023 from 4-7 PM.
