Nancy A. Smith, 77, passed away Monday May 31, 2021 with family by her side. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Dolores (Blanchette) Nicynski.
Nancy will be remembered most for her bright beautiful smile and love of her family. She enjoyed her gardening, watching game shows and thoroughly enjoyed scratch tickets. She will forever be in the hearts of her family and friends.
Nancy was the beloved mother of Wendy Diko and husband Matthew of Wyoming, RI, Stanley Smith and wife Sharon of Warwick, RI and Steven Smith of Wyoming, RI. She was the loving grandmother of Edward Cabral (Mikayla), Bryan Cabral (Olivia), Hannah and Zachary Smith, great-grandmother of Lucas Cabral. She was the sister of Elaine Blair (late Bill Blair), Joan O’Brien (Edward), Madeline White (Robert), Rose Marginson (Skip), Ruth Page, Jane Nicynski and Joanne Clark. She is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday June 12, 2021 at 10am in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick.
