New England Institute of Technology (NEIT) will hold an Open House to showcase its Master of Science degree program in Information Technology (MSIT) on Thursday, May 9 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the college’s East Greenwich campus located at One New England Tech Blvd.
The MSIT program emphasizes the combination of advanced technical courses with an integrated management core. Evening classes are available to accommodate the working professional. The curriculum encompasses the components that comprise the informational infrastructure, such as software applications to support business processes, information and data sources used to store data, processes used to secure data, the network used to access data and applications, as well as the people who design, manage and implement the applications, data and network. MSIT graduates will be prepared to seek employment as project managers, network managers, chief information officers, chief technical officers, business analysts, or systems integrators.
Visitors should report to the Hall of Fame room located on the first floor of the East Greenwich campus. Tours of the campus will be conducted as well as presentations from the Information Technology faculty. Current NEIT Information Technology Master’s degree candidates will also be on hand to speak about their experiences. Refreshments will be served. RSVP at www.neit.edu.
