Ocean State Theatre Company announced the kickoff of their new Piano Bar Series. “Do You Hear the People Sing…Uptempos!” will be held following Friday and Saturday evening performances of the company’s current production, “Les Misérables.”
The theatre’s lobby will be transformed into an intimate cabaret space, at which patrons will be entertained by cast members and OSTC staff members, while enjoying beverages and late night appetizers, which will be available from the lobby bar.
“Do You Hear the People Sing…Uptempos!” will be hosted by Mike Daniels. Musical accompaniment will be provided by the musical director for “Les Misérables,” John Jay Espino.
“Do You Hear the People Sing…Uptempos!” will be presented following Friday and Saturday evening performances on Oct. 11, 12, 18 and 19. Attendance at the performance is not required for the cabaret. The lobby doors will open for the cabaret at 10:30 p.m. The theatre is located at 1245 Jefferson Blvd., Warwick. Admission is free but seating is limited, so reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 921-6800.
