ARTICLE I
IN GENERAL

AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DELIVERY OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS TO PERSONS UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE

Be it ordained by the City of Warwick:

Section I: Chapter 40, Article I of the City of Warwick Code of Ordinances is hereby amended as follows:

Sec. 40-31. Delivery of tobacco products to persons under 18 21 years of age.

            It shall be unlawful for any person to sell, give or deliver any tobacco product to a person under the age of eighteen twenty-one years. Violation of this section shall be punishable pursuant to section 1-4 of the Code of Ordinances under the jurisdiction of the municipal court.

Section II: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and publication as prescribed by law.
