Charles M. Phifer, age 94, son of Paul and Kay Phifer, passed away peacefully at home on June 18, following a brief illness. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 60 years Edna (Carlson) Phifer whom he met dancing. Charlie was born in Providence and lived in Warwick his entire life. He and Edna spent many years exploring Narragansett Bay by boat and jet skiing as well as many weekends water skiing with his family in Occupessatuxet Cove. Charlie, who was a very independent man, had a close circle of friends and will be dearly missed by his family.
As requested by Charles, his burial will be private.
