The Rhode Island Philharmonic Music School is offering its third annual Free Lesson Day on Friday, Dec. 12. Children through adults interested in individual private lessons in violin, piano, guitar, percussion, voice and more can sample a 30-minute private lesson with one of the Music School’s faculty. Parents of babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers can bring their children to one of three group demonstration classes of the School’s Music Together program.
New students of all ages and skill levels are welcome and pre-registration is required. The deadline to sign up is Monday, Dec. 8 at musicschool.riphil.org.
The school is located at 667 Waterman Avenue in East Providence, with access from I-195. Forty-five-minute demonstration classes for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are offered at 9:30, 10:30 or 11:30 a.m., and individual private lessons are offered from 2-7 p.m. More information and sign-up forms can be found at musicschool.riphil.org.
