Phyllis Linnea (Bergden) Carpenter, 89, of West Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Estrid (Hogberg) Bergden. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell Arnold Carpenter, Jr.
Phyllis was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Warwick. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Linea R. Wilbur (Keith) of West Warwick, her grandchildren Ashley and Tayla Wilbur, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Clifford Bergden, Myrtle Kenyon, and Grace Morast.
Her Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Interment followed at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Warwick.
