Dolores T. (Hannon) Poirier, 94, former owner of Bayview Seafood in Oakland Beach, passed away in the Saint Elizabeth Green House Home, on Saturday, January 20, 2024. She was the wife of the late Robert D. Poirier, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late James and Rosalia (Meehan) Hannon.
Dolores is survived by her three children, Robert J. Poirier and his wife Dorothy, Donna M. Slocum and her husband Robert, and Richard J. Poirier; sister, Rosaila “Pat” Maggiacomo; grandchildren, James, John, Michelle, Christopher, and Katie; and nine great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late John, James, and Robert Hannon.
Relatives and friends are invited to join her Funeral Service on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 10:00AM from the Thomas and Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM in St. Rose and Clement Church, 111 Long St., Warwick.
