Col. Stephen M. McCartney and the Warwick Police Department would like to hear from its residents and business owners as it begins the process of completing a Citizen’s Satisfaction Survey.
The police department conducts the survey every three years. It is an effort to gauge the overall effectiveness and quality of the department.
The goal of the survey is to hear what residents and business owners truly feel about the department that serves them every day. The survey will allow the public to voice their opinions on a variety of different aspects of the work that is done by the police department. The department has received high marks and positive responses in the past, and the colonel and his command staff are hopeful that will continue and is one of the reasons the department maintains its accreditation with the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies for standards and practices.
The department is continuing its effort by going “green” with the survey by making it available on-line to residents and business owners. To access the survey, residents can go to the Warwick Police Department website at www.warwickpd.org.
All information is confidential and will not be shared with any outside agencies. Surveys should be completed by Feb. 28.
Should anyone have questions regarding the survey, they can call Lt. Michael Gilbert of the Community Services Division at 468-4344.
