The Prout School in Wakefield will hold its annual Open House Nov. 3 for prospective students. Prout is a Catholic Co-Educational College Preparatory High School with an enrollment of 600 students in grades 9-12. The Prout School offers a number of academic opportunities, including college preparatory classes, an honors program, AP classes and it is the only school in Rhode Island to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program, a challenging, comprehensive, advanced college preparatory course of study.
Prout also offers students more than 20 competitive junior varsity and varsity sports teams, a renowned theatre and performing arts program and numerous clubs and extracurricular activities.
The Open House will feature interactive tours of the Prout School given by current student ambassadors, as well as the opportunity to meet administration, teachers, coaches and alumni and review Prout curriculum and athletic offerings.
