Registration is open for Lead the Way Field Hockey’s youth and middle school fall field hockey league. The league runs from Sept. 14 through Oct. 19. Lead the Way promotes the league as a good way introduce the game to first-grade through eighth-grade girls, with the opportunity to learn on improve on their fundamental skills.
The league includes one weekly practice as well as Saturday morning games. There are youth divisions for first through third graders and fourth through fifth graders and a middle school league for sixth through eighth graders. There are also three regions – the north is based in Smithfield, the central is in Providence and the south is in North Kingstown.
