The last Warwick Neck Improvement Association January chili dinner was held in 2020. The event made its post pandemic revival Saturday at Saint Elizabeth’s Adult Day Care Center with an array of homemade chilies that had more 50 in attendance coming back for samples as they selected their favorites. A raffle at the free event raised $480 which will be used to support various association causes including maintaining the Warwick Cover overlook and contributions to the Warwick Neck Garden Club, Warwick Neck Elementary School and Saint Elizabeth’s. In addition to the chili dinner, the 150-member association runs the annual July 4 parade, Veterans Day celebration and an electronic recycling event. Speaker, John Howell, Beacon editor and publisher outlined the history of saving Rocky Point as a state park. Pictured here serving up her chili is Marilyn Wilmot.
