Construction started in May of this year and is proceeding rapidly on Alta Altitude, 214 units of Class A apartments on the 6-acre site of the former LAZ Parking on Post Road adjacent to the Airport Connector. Framing has started on the first of two buildings, Kelen Araujo, development manager of the Boston office of Wood Partners reported last week. As of Tuesday, work was proceeding on the second story of the four story structure. Araujo said the first of the two buildings with 110 units is scheduled for completion next August. The second building is scheduled for completion next October. The $64 million development with 126 one bedroom, 80 two bedroom and eight three-bedroom units will include a swimming pool, fitness center, work from home lounges, pet washing station and dog walk. It will also have 21 garages. The towers seen rising from the site are elevator shifts. Pictured is Ryan King, superintendent on site. (Warwick Beacon photos)
