Robert Littlefield “Skip” Hull passed away unexpectedly on Thursday April 15 at home. He was born on June 20, 1955 in Providence, RI to the late Robert Franklin Hull and Gloria (Littlefield) Hull.

Skip loved music and was an accomplished woodworker, artist, mariner. Always there to lend a helping hand, he was affectionately known to his family as Prince Skip’ll-do-it. Happily retired, Skip was working on his newest project, restoring a beautiful sailboat and was looking forward to her maiden voyage this summer. He also spent his time using his handyman skills teaching and helping his children whenever they called on him, and sometimes without even being asked.

Relatives and friends invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday April 21, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. with a service to follow at the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue. A burial will be held on Block Island at a later date.

Skip is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 42 years Ellie (Youngling) and his children Benjamin Littlefield Hull and Corinne Elizabeth Hull. He is also survived by his five sisters: Gail (William) Martin, Sandra (Fred) Leigh, Robyn (Bob) Fletcher, Paula (Tom) Drzal and Pamela Borges. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard F. Hull and his brother-in-law, Steven Borges.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Block Island Nature Conservancy or the Block Island Historical Society.
