Roberta B. Todd of Attleboro, MA and Warwick, RI died peacefully on July 15, 2021, after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Milton Todd and the late Mildred Bradley Todd.

After graduate school, Roberta became a Realtor for Prudential Real Estate until she surreptitiously was offered a job at Newstream, LLC in Attleboro, MA. Because that was part-time, she also taught Chemistry and Biology at Coyle/Cassidy High School in Taunton, MA, and worked at Brown University and affiliated hospitals. She found her dream job teaching at Bristol Community College at their three locations for over 13 years, mentoring students of all ages to meet their science requirements for nursing school and other degree programs.

She also found time to be the Secretary of the Gaspee Point Homeowners Association over the last 16 years and was a founding member of Cross Lights organization helping new immigrants assimilate into the community. Roberta never met a stranger and truly enjoyed traveling. She vacationed in NV and took a wonderful trip to China in 2019 and saw the Terra Cotta Warriors of the Emperor and then hoped to see Alaska, the last of the 50 states to visit, before becoming sick. She was loved by her friends and looked up to by her students, colleagues and the many people she touched.

Friends are invited to attend her graveside service on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Knoll Cemetery, Tremont Street at Park Street, Rehoboth, MA. Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home at 1328 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI will lead a procession to the cemetery at 9:30 a.m. for those wishing to follow.

Donations in Roberta’s memory may be sent to the Pancreatic Research Center at the Dan Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.
