Rosetta (Ragosta) Spaziano, age 83, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Spaziano, Sr. for 59 years. Raised in Providence, Rosetta was the daughter of the late Armando and Antonetta (Zompa) Ragosta.
Rosetta worked as a Special Education teacher assistant for the Cranston Public School Department while raising her family. She was an avid reader and loved travelling with her husband for many years.
Rosetta was the mother of Joseph Spaziano, Jr. and his wife, Ann and Lisa Callahan and her husband, Rev. Mr. Brian; cherished grandmother of Heather Us-Spaziano, Melissa Spaziano, Joseph Spaziano III, Jonathan Callahan, and Brianna Callahan; great grandmother of Carlos, Alinah, Nikolai, RJ, and Elizabeth; and beloved sister of Rev. Mr. Armand Ragosta.
A visitation will be held from 8:30-9:30 AM. on Friday, January 6, 2023 at the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick at 10:00 AM.
