The Elite Physical Therapy team gathered for a group photo before the start of The Light the Night Walk at the Rhode Island State House in an effort to raise funds for leukemia and lymphoma research. Elite Physical Therapy was proud to be a sponsor of the “Light the Night Walk” held Oct. 23. They walked in memory of Amanda Guerin, a former Elite Physical therapist who passed away from leukemia seven years ago. All of the company’s friends and families celebrate Amanda’s life by participating in the walk every year. “It’s a great event to celebrate life, support those who are fighting blood cancer, and remember those who have lost a loved one to blood cancer”, said Elite Physical Therapy’s Founder, Dr. Michael Nula. “The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society does a fantastic job each year creating public awareness, and gathering support to find cures and treatments for leukemia and lymphoma. We are proud to support this important organization and cause.” (Submitted photo)
