Covid has put the clamps on many activities. The Conimiciut Library stopped its book club, knitting group, after school crafts and story telling events. But branch manager Jackie Petrarca, Penny LaCroix and Betty Marioli have found ways to safely involve the community. Depending on the season, Petrarca prints outlines of different things – Easter eggs are coming up – for kids to color. Their work is then displayed in the library windows for the community to admire. The library is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Here Petrarca prepares to take down winter artwork to make room for eggs and more. (Warwick Beacon photo)
