The Kanga Mamas (that’s like kangaroos, although they welcome toddlers in strollers, too) visited Rocky Point on Friday for their weekly hike. For many, it was their first visit to the park. The Mamas, a non-profit group, meets on the third Saturday of every month at Thundermist Health Center during the winter and at Lippitt Park farmers market in Providence during the summer. Leader of the weekly hikes, Jennifer Gautam (foreground at right) said the Mamas welcome new members and that hikes are held throughout the state. (Warwick Beacon photo)
