Dr. Matthew Rocheleau DO of Warwick, has received the Father Ricard Resident of the Year Award for 2020-2021 voted by his peers and colleagues. The award is presented to the resident who demonstrates compassion, honesty, respect, and professionalism to patients and peers, an individual who treats all people with respect and dignity and willingly engages in activities to make Kent Hospital and the community it serves a better place. Matthew has lived in Warwick for the last 27 years. Matthew graduated from Toll Gate High School in 2012. He graduated in 2016 from St. Anselm College with honors with his degree in biology and chemistry. He then attended the University of New England where he obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 2020. Matthew then applied and was accepted into the residence program at Kent Hospital in Warwick. He just completed his first of three years of residence. Matthew entered his second year of residency on July 1 and hopes to someday after finishing his residency to practice internal medicine for the Kent County community. (Submitted photo)
