Siblings Serving
Soldiers and airmen of the Rhode Island National Guard have been activated by Gov. Gina Raimondo to support this historic fight against a deadly contagion. At left, sisters Tegan and Coral Brown, engineers with the 861st Engineer Company, participate in the COVID-19 response in Warwick on April 2. At right, Staff Sgt. James Graves, training NCO with the CBRN Enhanced Response Force Packages (CERFP), assigned to the 861st Engineer Company, stands for photos with his brother Sgt. John Graves, an engineer with the 861st Engineer Co. One of James’s role during the fight against COVID-19 is to rove between testing sites to ensure that service members have what they need to complete their mission while John took part in administering COVID-19 sampling tests.
