After a late afternoon storm, and with the heat or humidity showing no signs of letting up, brave supporters of the Women & Infants NICU attended fundraisers at all three Sundaes locations on Thursday, July 14. According to Rachel McNally, NFAC co-chair, the event raised close to $250. “Thank you to all of our family and friends who visited Sundaes today in support of the NICU Family Advisory Council. The funds raised will help us continue to provide lunches for families, new books for each baby once a month, crafts for families, and more,” she said. McNally acknowledged Ken Schneider, owner of Sundaes, and his daughter Lindsay, who is the manager at the Atwood Avenue location. Above, former NICU residents gather at the Sundaes on Atwood Avenue.
