It started with four pink flamingoes that appeared mysteriously in her yard Saturday. Then on Sunday, Anna Rounds looked out from her home on Bellman Avenue in Conimicut to discover a cooking-themed birthday display that had neighbors taking pictures. Her four children, Bobby, Vincent, Tina and Lisa were responsible. Anna, who celebrated her 78th birthday Sunday, said she loves cooking, but she “can’t cook small.” As a result, she’s always calling over her kids and their families to send them home with dinner. This time they cooked up a celebration for her and she loved it. (Warwick Beacon photo)

Thank you John Howell and the Warwick Beacon. John, your visit was a perfect ending to a great weekend.
My mom is a wonderful woman and everyone that knows mom, loves her. With Covid, a party just wasn’t an option. Hired Dec My Yard to do a display and they did a great job. The display took up the whole lawn (only a small portion is seen in this image) and she was quite surprised. While sipping her morning coffee she happened to look out her window and from there we had a blast.
