Four times a years, Sts. John & Paul Parish, 341 South Main St., Coventry, hosts life saving blood drives that collect about 140 pints of blood a year, potentially saving as many as 420 lives. The church’s next blood drive is from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 27.
Working with a strong community, and a dedicated blood drive coordinator in Mike Emmitt, Father Paul R. Grennan brings a strong commitment to blood donation, having been a blood donor for years and seeing the power of blood transfusions among his own family members.
