Sally Ann (Crusoe) McKnight, 80, a lifelong resident of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 5, 2021. Born in Providence, on January 8, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Peggy (Jasmer) Crusoe. She was the former wife of the late Walter “Mickey” McKnight and long-time companion of the late Wilson Blue.

Sally was a graduate of the Lincoln School in Providence and attended Greenwood Community Church Presbyterian. She was a dedicated CNA who took exceptional care of her clients. A past president of the Warwick F.O.P. Women’s Auxiliary Board, she was appointed to the building committee of the Warwick police department building that was dedicated in 1975. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Sally was her grandson Ross’ number one fan, traveling the country to attend his hockey games and glued to her computer watching when she couldn’t attend. A special thank you to her longtime friend Diane Genga and the entire Genga family for their love and support.

She is survived by her beloved children, Susan T. MacKinnon (Stephen Peltier Esq.) of Narragansett, J. Scott McKnight (Barbara Manni McKnight) of Naples, FL, her grandchildren, Aubrie (MacKinnon) Dalicandro (Nick) of Boston MA, Ross MacKinnon (Heather) of Simsbury, CT, and Erica McKnight of Cranston, her four great-granddaughters: Sloan, Carter, Taytum, and Tenley, her sister, Peggy Jane Lapin of South Carolina, her niece, Wendy (Lapin) Olsen, and her nephews, Mark Lapin (Marylou) of Cranston and Todd Lapin of Pensacola, FL.
