Sargent Rehabilitation Center will hold its 23rd annual benefit golf tournament on Monday, July 29, at Quidnessett Country Club in North Kingstown. Platinum sponsors for this year ’s tournament are Centreville Bank and Tufts Health Plan.
The golf fee of $200 per golfer includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, cart, prizes and a post-tournament dinner. The event features hole competitions, including the chance to win a $25,000 hole-in-one cash prize. A post-tournament raffle features exciting prizes, including vacation packages courtesy of Atlantis Resort Casino & Spa in Reno.
Tee signs are available for a $200 sponsorship and serve as mini billboards to promote business sponsors during the tournament. For more information on golf slots or tee signs, call the Center’s Development Office at 886-6613.
All proceeds from the tournament will support Sargent Center’s programs, which assist children and adults with disabilities in gaining skills to lead productive lives. Founded in 1917, the Center services 1,500 students, clients and families throughout Rhode Island and surrounding states. It offers a pediatric program for children with autism and other complicated neurologic disabilities; a neuro-rehabilitation program for
adolescents and adults who have suffered traumatic brain injuries, strokes or other neurologic injuries; and a regional resource center for consultation, education and training to individuals, families and professionals.
