“Welcome to Moe’s!” will soon be heard throughout Warwick when Moe’s Southwest Grill opens at 300 Quaker Lane on Dec. 18.
To celebrate the opening of its second Rhode Island location, the popular chain will donate $2,500 to a local school. Every elementary, junior high and high school in Warwick is eligible to win and has been pre-registered on www.moesgrandopening.com. The school with the most votes at the end of the voting period will win $2,500.
“We love the Warwick market for the strong community ties,” said Matthew Rusconi, owner of the location. “And when we were brainstorming about our grand opening we all felt strongly that the donation should benefit a local school.”
Friends, family, faculty and community members are encouraged to vote for their school of choice once a day up until Jan. 5.
The winning school will be determined by the most votes and will be announced on Moe’s Rhode Island’s Facebook page at 2 p.m. on Jan. 5.
