Warwick Boy Scouts Troop 7 and Troop 77 Buttonwoods honored fallen heroes in Memorial Day celebrations last weekend. Both troops took part in a joint wreath laying ceremony in honor of Private Thomas C. Matteson, a Civil War Veteran from Scituate, RI. Both troops also participated in the East Greenwich Memorial Day parade. Troop 77's first female Eagle Scout, Morgan Nathan, had the opportunity to speak to Governor Daniel McKee at the event.
