Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

If you are not a Marvel fan, you may want to skip this one, as Joyce did.

The latest edition of Spider-Man is a psychedelic, psychosomatic splurge of imaginative animation, splashed across the big screen at full speed.

The “spider- verse” is filled with unlimited numbers of spider-men of all shapes and sizes, all coming to the aide of our young Black hero, Miles.

He partners with the beautiful blonde spider-girl to traverse a variety of spider-verses battling The Spot, a weird creature that looks like the Monroe Dairy cow.

The animation is literally out of this world, filled with pastel colors, zig-zag lines, splashes and overlays.

It is like watching a comic book come to life on the screen.

Fans will keep up with previous characters and events while casual viewers won’t have a clue to what is happening.

For casual viewers like me the movie is over-kill. It just goes on and on and on ad nauseum.

After the initial credits, fans are assured that Miles will return. For those who stayed to the very end, there was nothing added to pique their curiosity.
