To the Editor:
It is my belief that since there are so few women holding legislative seats there is a large imbalance, and Sen. Calkin has the power to help that change.
I think that her amazing ability to actually listen to her constituents will make her an amazing senator deserving of the title. She always has time to listen and to do what she can to make a difference for the residents of Rhode Island.

If an elected official does not listen to their constituents, then the representative republic has failed. If your official doesn't listen to you or give you and easy way to express your opinion to them, vote them out.
