During October, appropriately renamed #socktober, Girl Scouts in Warwick Junior Troop 274 & Brownie Troop 389 collected 826 pairs of socks and undergarments. Girls worked with their schools, including Wyman, Holliman, John Wickes and St. Peter’s, to place bins in the lobbies and collect new socks and undergarments all month. The items were delivered to Westbay Community Action on Friday.
