Violet D. (Marlow) Sperduti, age 87, of Warwick, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at home. She was the wife of the late Dennis T. Sperduti.
Born in New Bedford, MA, a daughter of the late Edward and Laura L. (Mitron) Marlow, she lived in Warwick for 60 years.
Mrs. Sperduti was formerly employed as a certified nursing assistant, and later the activities director, at Avalon Nursing Home in Warwick.
Mrs. Sperduti sketched pictures, enjoyed puzzles, and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox. She loved to sing, and sang with the St. Benedict Church Choir and the Harmony Barber Shop Quartet.
She is survived by four sons, Mark A. Sperduti (Rozilyn), Dennis L. Sperduti (Laurie), Vincent E. Sperduti, and David P. Sperduti (Kim), all of Warwick; a sister, Rita S. Caron of Middletown, CT; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Raymond Desrosiers.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, April 17, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick.
