Heather D. Carter has been promoted to the position of branch supervisor at Wave’s Westerly office. In her new role, she will manage the overall operations of the branch. Previously, she served as loan officer/member service representative of the Westerly office. Heather brings to her new responsibilities over 25 years of banking experience, beginning as a teller with Chelsea Groton Bank and working up to assistant branch manager of Citizens Bank prior to joining Wave. Carter resides in Westerly with her husband and two young sons. Founded in 1938 as Narragansett Electric Employees Federal Credit Union, Wave Federal Credit Union has offices in Warwick, Westerly and Pawtucket, assets in excess of $114 million and nearly 8,000 members.
