The Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce installation of officers, hosted by Dancin’ Feelin’ on Post Road last Thursday, featured a ’70s theme and, for the second year, the installation of Steve Kitchen of New England Institute of Technology as president. In his speech, Kitchin said the chamber has answered the call to act smarter, faster and better.
“I want to assure you that as your Chamber of Commerce, together with you, we will continue to strive to: Improve our business climate/making RI more competitive; work to make sure our young people can compete globally and support an economic development strategy that clearly outlines where we want Rhode Island to be, how we get there, and that we as citizens can support.”
