The graduating class from Warwick Veterans Memorial High School is hosting a fundraiser today, May 7th, at Texas Road House.
The funds raised will go to support the senior class, for their senior banquet and the class gift that will be given back to the school at graduation. Part of the funds raised will also go towards the Corrina Cole and Tim Packhem Scholarships, which go to one female and male student respectively for college expenses. Cole and Packhem were both former Vets students who died after separate tragic accidents.
The scholarships, created in their name, benefit Vets seniors.
There will also be raffle tickets at the restaurant throughout the night. A few of the baskets that will be raffled include a beauty basket, with lotions and a gift card for a manicure and a beach basket, with suntan lotion, flip-flops and a beach ball.
The Warwick Veterans Memorial High School Fundraiser will be held at Texas Road House, 1200 Quaker Lane, from 3 to 10 p.m. The raffle will also be held from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Mention to your server that you are there in support of the Warwick Veterans fundraiser and a portion of your bill will go to the senior class.
