As part of a fun project, Sherman School second graders transformed pumpkins into their favorite children’s’ book characters with the help of friends and family … and lots of imagination. Displaying their character pumpkins in the front of the class of Christine Laramee are Alyssa Twomey and Matt Badway. And Jonathan Russo shows off Captain Underpants, his favorite. Asked if his father had a hand in the creation, Jonathan said, no, those are his pair of Hanes. (Warwick Beacon photos)
