More than 200 toys were collected for the Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots at the 14th annual Toys for Tots karate championship held Saturday by the Don Rodrigues Karate Academy. Admission to the championship for both participants and their parents was a toy gift. About 50 kids participated in the event held at the academy on Commerce Street. The toys will be donated to Toys for Tots at tonight’s telethon hosted by Bob Venturini at Warwick Mall.
