Lights glowed and so did the spirit of the season Sunday with the lighting of the Warwick Christmas tree in front of Thayer Arena followed by an evening of free skating, hot chocolate and donuts, face painting, free reindeer food (oatmeal and sparkles in plastic bags that was handed out to kids) and, naturally, a chance to share a visit with Santa. Holly Weber, who helped coordinate the event said in more than 30 years of attending the annual tree lighting has she seen such a turn out.
